Jantri
Jantri is the Gujarat government's notified market value for land, used as the floor for stamp duty calculation. Stamp duty is paid on the higher of jantri or actual consideration.
Section 63AA
Section 63AA of the Gujarat Tenancy & Agricultural Lands Act, 1948 lets a non-farmer buy agricultural land in Gujarat for a bona-fide industrial purpose, subject to post-purchase notice within 30 days and Industries Commissioner permission above 10 hectares.
NA Conversion
NA conversion converts agricultural land to non-agricultural use under Section 65 of the Gujarat Land Revenue Code, 1879. The Collector is the sanctioning authority. Standard timeline is 8–12 weeks on clean files.
PCPIR
PCPIR is a Petroleum, Chemicals & Petrochemicals Investment Region — a planned industrial region under a Government of India policy framework. Dahej is Gujarat's notified PCPIR, with a 453 sq km footprint in Bharuch district.
Banakhat
Banakhat is a stamped, registered agreement to sell that contractually binds buyer and seller before the final sale deed. Used universally in Gujarat as the formal instrument between LOI and registered conveyance.
